7-Day Europe Sampler. Day 5

Today was a super long bus ride. 8 hrs to be exact from Schoenbuhl to the Rhine Valley.

The most exciting thing that happened was that we missed someone. It took about another 30 mins to get back to the gas station and pick him up.

We saw a coo-coo clock shop and he explained how the clocks were made.

They had the largest hanging clock in the world. (They are also in the Guinness Book of Records).

Afterwards we went on a cruise ride down the Rhine River. Unfortunately , it got too dark to see anything.

We went to a store were we tasting the wine. A white, a red, and also an ice wine made only in that region (and one of 2 places where white wine is made.)
This part of the tour wasn’t really exciting. Hopefully tomorrow will be different. Tomorrow is an early start as we are off to Amsterdam.
